Located on West Street, known in the late 1800's as Millionaire's Row, in Bar Harbor, The Tides is a true beauty. The house was designed by Arthur Rotch of the extremely prominent Boston architectural firm of Rotch and Tilden. It was built in 1887, a Greek Revival waterfront home constructed to the owner's exacting desires. The house was designed for and built for Mr. and Mrs. William B. Rice of Boston.
