Grindstone Neck


If you love Historic Maine Homes, a wonderful field trip is to go to Winter Harbor and take a ride around Grindstone Neck. The architecture is amazing, even the new homes pay homage to the historical significance of the homes around them. Then take a ride down to the Schoodic part of Acadia National Park. The views are INCREDIBLE.

Trend perhaps? The gorgeous Dark Harbor House on Islesboro is the third former B&B we have sold in less than a year that will now be a private home. We've seen this pendulum swing before....

Some of the nicest Historic Homes in Maine have been converted to Inns and Bed & Breakfasts. Interestingly enough, in the current market, several of these properties are being purchased and converted back to homes. Shown above are Kenniston Hill in Boothbay and Timbercliffe Cottage in Camden.
